Because of the Jingle Bell Christmas Light Tour in the previous book, as well as the shower, the house is still lavishly decorated, but Phyllis isn’t in much of a holiday mood. Between the murder in the previous book and the stress of getting ready for Eve’s wedding (which will be held on New Year’s Eve, continuing the 'Eve' theme), there’s no time for relaxing and enjoying Christmas.
