Rose Pressey writes the Haunted Renovation Mystery series which started in 2011 and is set in the South. The second book in this series takes place in Georgia so I'm categorizing this in Georgia. It features Alabama Hargrove. 'Bama' always has a money-making scheme up her sleeve. She is now a house flipper. So what if she knows zilch about renovating homes--how hard can it be? In this series Alabama Hargrove encounters ghosts, murders and plenty of home renovation. You'll enjoy getting to know her sexy know-it-all neighbor Reed O'Hara. Rosie also writes the Trash to Treasure Crafting Mystery series which started in 2012 and takes place in Kentucky. It features recently divorced, Raelynn Pendleton who inherits a victorian house from a virtual stranger. She turns it into a bed-and-breakfast. She must decorate it on a budget. Raelynn enjoys shopping at thrift shops and repurposing furniture and household items. Rose Pressey also has several other non-cozy light paranormal series.
