Manjiri Prabhu writes the Stellar Investigations Detective Agency which started in 2004 and takes place in Pune, India. It features astrologist PI Sonia Samarth who uses a unique combination of traditional Indian wisdom, modern-day detection, and ancient astrology to solve crimes. Manjiri Prabhu holds a Ph.D. in films/communication science and is a children's television producer. She lives in Pune, India, where she is at work on the next novel featuring the Stellar Investigations Detective Agency.
