Carol Grace (aka Carol Culver) writes the Pie Shop Mystery Series. This series started in 2011 and is set in California. It features Hanna Denton who has returned home to Crystal Cove, California, to take over her Grannie Louises' pie shop. The pie shop has been in business for 30 years and has a reputation for the best pies in the state. Hanna'a Grannie has moved into a ritzy retirement community.
