Christine DeSmet writes the Fudge Shop Mystery Series which starts in September 2013 and is set in Wisconsin. It features Ava Oosterling who operates a copper-kettle fudge shop on the docks of Fishers’ Harbor, Wisconsin. Ava wants to make fudge famous in the tourist haven of Door County—so famous that you’d find it in the swag bags given away at the Oscar Awards. Her Grandfather Gil has agreed to share some space in his bait shop, so the sign outside now reads: Oosterlings’ Bait, Bobbers & Belgian Fudge. Ava finds herself solving murders!
