B.B. Cantwell writes the Portland Bookmobile Mystery series which started in 2013 and is set in 1990s Portland, Oregon. It features female sleuth and librarian Hester Freelove McGarrigle, her fuzzy Maine Coon cat, and her neighbor, Detective Nate Darrow. You'll find a cast of quirky bookmobile patrons, intrepid librarians, and a dishy, slightly OCD-ish detective who is not above a pleasant dalliance. Oh, and some unfortunate murders involving the magenta book bus of the Portland City Library.
