Dorothy writes the Whitehouse Gardener Mystery Series started in 2011 and set in Washington DC. It features Casey Calhoun who is hired as an assistant White House Gardener and focuses on organic gardening. Dorothy St. James also writes the Southern Chocolate Shop Mystery Series which starts in September 2017 and is set in South Carolina. It features Charity Penn who moves to the seaside town of Camellia Beach to investigate the death of her friend. Soon she starts to work at The Chocolate Box. As Dorothy McFalls she writes romance novels.
