Benison, C.C.

C.C. Benison is a Canadian author and the nom de plume of Doug Whiteway. C.C. Benison writes the Father Christmas Mystery Series which started in 2011 and takes place in England. It features recent widow, Father Tom Christmas who is a wise and warm-hearted new vicar of the picturesque English village of Thornford Regis. He has a nine-year-old daughter. Nothing is as it seems in the sleepy English village. He also wrote Her Majesty Investigates Mystery series which started in 1996 and takes place in England. There are three books in this series. A book under this series has not been published since 1998. It features Jane Bee, Canadian Housemaid at Buckingham Palace and Her Majesty His book Death At Buckingham Palace, which was published by Bantam Books in 1996, won the Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel from the Crime Writers of Canada.
