Robin Donovan writes the Donna Leigh Mystery Series which started in 2011 and is set in Omaha, Nebraska. It features ad agency owner Donna Leigh-- an energetic and somewhat sardonic menopausal woman. In the first novel in this series Donna becomes the chief amateur sleuth when a former colleague is murdered. As Donna and her colorful colleagues work feverishly to solve the case, they leave a trail of unintentional destruction in their wake; from injured police officers to collapsed buildings.
