Ellie Grant (aka Joyce and Jim Lavene) write the Pie in the Sky Mystery series which starts in September 2013 and is set in North Carolina. It features Maggie Grady who works in her Aunt Clara's Pie Shop. Maggie is forced to retreat from her high-flying New York financial career to the town where she grew up where she finds herself solving murders.
