It’s May in Holiday Bay and spring has sprung. Flowers are in bloom, Jeremy and Haven are busy in the garden, Georgia is busy with her new cookbook, Abby considers what to do with the manuscripts she inherited, Mylie is all hyped up about her baby shower, and Annabelle tries to adjust to the idea of a new baby in the family.

Meanwhile, the cottages have been opened for the season, and the inn is full to capacity when a first-time guests Rowen and Linda reserve the entire property to celebrate their 35th anniversary. When the couple's friend and financial advisor turns up dead, everyone begins to wonder if perhaps the announcement of an amendment to Rowen and Linda's will might be behind the unexpected turn of events.
