Elly Griffiths (AKA Domenica de Rosa) writes the Ruth Galloway Mystery Series which started in 2010 and is set in England. It features Forensic archeologist Dr. Ruth Galloway who lives on the remote English beach of Saltmarsh and teaches archeology at a small local university. Also featured is DCI Harry Nelson who calls on Ruth to help investigate both old and new murders.
The first book was the Winner of the Mary Higgins Clark Award 2011.
