In her debut murder mystery, Maine blueberry farmer Candy Holliday has to track down a killer when two murders occur back-to-back. First, aging playboy Jock Larson takes a midnight nosedive off a seaside cliff. Then, local gossip columnist-and recently crowned town Blueberry Queen-Sapphire Vine stops the business end of a hammer with her head, right in her own home. When a local handyman is accused of the murders, Candy investigates to clear his name, and uncover the real murderer, while sorting through the town’s juicy secrets along the way.
