Marcia Muller writes the Carpenter & Quincannon Mystery Series which started in 2013 and takes place in San Francisco. It is a lighthearted historical mysteries set in 1890s San Francisco. It features former Pinkerton operative Sabina Carpenter and her detective partner, ex-Secret Service agent John Quincannon.
Marcia is a New York Times bestselling author. She has written more than thirty-five novels and received the MWA’s Grand Master Award in 2005.
She co-writes this series with her husband, Bill Pronzini who is the creator of the Nameless Detective. He is a highly praised novelist, short story writer and anthologist. He received the Grand Master Award from the MWA in 2008, making Muller and Pronzini the only living couple to share the award.
