Abigail Keam writes the Josiah Reynolds Mystery series which started in 2010 and is set in Kentucky. It features Josiah Reynolds, a former art history professor. Josiah was once a celebrity with wealth, social position, and a famous husband. Now all of that is gone. The professor finds her circumstances drastically altered. Retired, Josiah is now a full time beekeeper trying to stay financially afloat by selling honey at the local Farmers Market. Death By A HoneyBee, her first mystery novel, won a Gold Medal Award from Reader's Favorite in 2010. It was on Amazon's top 100 book list for Women's Literature and Women Sleuths for March 2012 and February 2013. Death By Drowning, her second novel, also won a Gold Medal Award from Reader's Favorite in 2011. Both books were on the USA BOOK NEWS Best Books of 2011 list as Finalists.
