Isis Crawford aka Barbara Block, writes the Mystery with Recipes Series which started in 2003 and is set in New York. It features sisters Bernie & Libby Simmons. They own a catering and bake shop, A Little Taste of Heaven. Tender hearted Libby along with her wisecracking sister, Bernie, a refugee from L.A. and a disastrous marriage solve murders. Also in the mix is Sean-- their wheelchair-bound father and retired police chief. This series is centered around holidays.
