This series started in 1992 and is set in Texas. It features ex-lawyer, China Bayels who has given up the high paced Houston legal jungle to pursue the quiet town living in Pecan Springs, Texas as the owner of a herb emporium. That's what she says, but she gets caught up in the investigation of murders.
