Ali Brandon aka Diane Stuckart writes the Black Cat Bookshop Mystery Series which started in 2011 and is set in New York. It features Darla Pettistone who has just inherited her late aunt's bookstore, Pettistone's Fine Books. She has also inherited Hamlet her aunt's black cat. As Diane she writes the Leonardo da Vinci Mysteries started in 2010 and is set in Italy. It features Leonardo da Vinci and his assistant Dino in 14th century Italy. The second book in this series, Portrait of a Lady won the 2009 FLORIDA BOOK AWARDS.
