Rachele Baker writes the Rylie Sunderland Mystery series which is set in Lake Tahoe. It features Rylie Sunderland who after the veterinary hospital where she worked burns to the ground,  packs up the pieces of her life and her golden retriever Bella and moves to Lake Tahoe. Still reeling from losing the only veterinarian job she’s ever had, she takes a summer job to help out a family friend at an old Lake Tahoe estate that’s been converted into a bed and breakfast inn.
