Denise started a new series in September 2017 - Welcome Back to Scumble River.
Denise Swanson also writes the Chef-to-Go Mystery Series which started in April 2018. It features Dani who has hit a dead-end in her career. She unexpectedly inherits an enormous old house in a quaint college town. This gives her the perfect opportunity to pursue her true passion―cooking! So Dani opens Chef-to-Go, preparing delicious, ready-made meals for hungry students attending the nearby university, as well as providing personal chef services and catering events for the local community. To help support her new business, she opens her home to a few students, renting them rooms and becoming almost like a big sister figure in their lives.

Denise started a new series in 2012, the Devereaux's Dime Store Mystery Series set in Missouri. It features Devereaux Sinclair, owner of Devereaux's Dime Store and Gift Baskets.
Denise Swanson writes the Forever Charmed Mystery Series which is set in Kansas. It features Lexie Green who receives a mysterious inheritance from an unknown great aunt. She leaves her miserable job selling overpriced designer clothes and moves to Kansas, to a town not on a map where all the citizens are magical. Lexie discovers she has magical powers too
